Microarray-Products of Conception (POC) Reveal® FFPE 511997
2 analytes · Tissue · Fasting not stated · Turnaround 14 - 21 days
Labcorp catalog pageMethod and collection
- Method
- SNP Microarray analysis is performed using the Oncoscan® FFPE platform, which uses more than 220,000 SNP probes with a median spacing of 5.0kb, within the majority of genes.
- Collection
- Specimen should be fixed in 10% neutral-buffered formalin or formaldehyde. Improperly embedded preparation; decalcified bone or bone core; samples with no fetal visualized on pathology report; only a small area is identified on fixed sample as fetal and is less than 50% of sample cannot be processed.

We compile this page from named laboratory catalogs, guidelines and studies. Labs calculate reference intervals from the people they test, for one assay method and one population group, so an interval describes that population rather than an optimal target.
